What to Expect During Your Invisalign® Journey
To start your orthodontic journey with Invisalign® , our team will first take an impression of your mouth to create your custom aligners. Once your aligners arrive, we’ll schedule a visit for you to receive your first set and go over how to use them. You’ll need to wear your aligners for at least 20 – 22 hours each day, removing them only for brushing, flossing, or eating. Every 1 – 2 weeks, you’ll switch to a new set of aligners. We’ll also arrange periodic follow-up appointments at Physimed Dentaire to monitor your progress. We have modern remote monitoring tools (with AI analysis) to accommodate your busy lifestyle and reduce your physical visit at our clinic .
The duration of your Invisalign® treatment will depend on your personal goals and needs, typically ranging from 6 – 18 months. Once your treatment is complete, you’ll receive custom retainers to maintain your beautiful new smile and prevent any shifting.

Airway dentistry
Airway dentistry treats common and complex concerns related to a child’s bite and palate, which can affect how a child breathes. Dr. Aubri Marchand has completed advanced pediatric airway courses and can assess the condition of a child’s soft tissue, tongue location, the shape of the palate, and jaw alignment. When children are very young, these issues can be caught and treated with minimal effort, which can prevent years of breathing and health issues for a child as they mature into adulthood.
What Are The Benefits?
Airway dentistry is a transformative approach that focuses on ensuring your child breathes properly for optimal health and development. By addressing underlying issues with oral structures and breathing patterns, this specialized care can have a profound impact on your child’s sleep, growth, and overall well-being. Here are the top five benefits of airway dentistry for children:
- Improved Sleep Quality
Addressing airway issues can reduce snoring, sleep apnea, and restless sleep, ensuring your child gets the restorative rest they need for proper growth and development. - Enhanced Cognitive and Behavioral Functioning
Better breathing leads to better sleep, which can improve focus, learning, and emotional regulation, reducing symptoms often mistaken for ADHD or other behavioral concerns. - Optimal Facial and Jaw Development
Early interventions help guide proper jaw and facial growth, preventing structural issues that could lead to long-term complications like misaligned teeth or restricted airways. - Improved Overall Health
Correcting breathing patterns reduces the risk of oral health problems, such as dry mouth and gum disease, and may lower risks for other conditions, including sinus infections and chronic fatigue. - Boosted Confidence and Quality of Life
Treating airway issues early ensures your child can breathe, sleep, and function optimally, allowing them to thrive socially, academically, and physically.
What to Expect During Your Airway Dentistry Journey
The journey of airway dentistry for children starts with a thorough evaluation of your child’s sleep, breathing, and overall health, using tools like 3D imaging and X-rays to assess the airway and jaw structure. Based on this, a personalized treatment plan is created, which may include orthodontic solutions like palate expanders or braces, along with myofunctional therapy to promote nasal breathing and proper tongue posture. Regular follow-ups monitor progress and make necessary adjustments, ensuring the treatment is effective. Afterward, long-term maintenance and guidance on good oral habits help maintain results, with a focus on improving sleep, supporting healthy development, and enhancing your child’s overall quality of life.
